Chris Seal and Ross Hunter grew up in New Zealand, and trained to be composite boat builders.
After completing their training they left the shores of New Zealand to see the world. They met in Dubai, UAE, where they worked for a year before Chris decided it was time to see Europe and shot off to Denmark. Ross left for France a few months later.
Almost a year on from that with a couple of sightings in-between, the two decided it would be great fun to drive a piece of crap ¼ the way round the would through some dodgy countries in the name of charity, and so a couple of beers later TheWingitRacers were go!
The mighty 'Rabbit Chaser'
Why Rabbit Chaser? That's what the crazy park ranger who sold it to us used it for. It's a Suzuki SJ 410 Santana — 970cc of 'raw power'.
It's a bit rusty, and the soft-top roof's never going to make it all the way to Mongolia — but who needs a roof anyway…
